Bug Detectors Work As Powerful Counter Surveillance Gadgets

Friday, December 31st, 2010

All over the Internet, there had been pictures of innocent female students taking a bath or shower that were being spread.

My sister and her friends attempted to view these still pictures but the web site demanded payment before they were allowed to see those.  Surely, this was run by a group that preys on ladies who were unaware that their privacy was being abused.  This really scared many women on campus, not knowing how to protect themselves.

As soon as I was told about this, I did not waste time going to my sister’s apartment near her university.  The counter surveillance gadget that I brought along were bug detectors that can detect if there are hidden cameras or microphones.

Bug detectors are designed to discover where mics or hidden cameras are installed.  They are very sensitive to the radio frequencies of wireless gadgets as well.  I turned them on and started them waving around the entire apartment, especially in my sister’s bathroom.

Since bugs come in different sizes and shapes, some even smaller than a penny, bug detectors will aid in detecting their existence for their easy location.

I used the bug detector with Strength Meter in my sister’s apartment to search for wireless surveillance gadgets.  This model can sense any signal from 1 MHZ to 3 MHz.  Another kind of bug detector is the lens finder – Camera Detector that is also highly sensitive in identifying the location of the transmitters of wireless cameras.

I especially like the frequency detector with Strength Meter because it has hi-tech circuitry that is very sensitive in identifying wireless transmitters.  With an LCD screen where the frequency is shown, it would be a lot easier and faster to find the hidden bugs.

Bug detectors are a big boost to counter surveillance operations.  Now, I know that my sister is safe from the cyber creeps who are looking for innocent victims.

Recording Spy Camera Images Will Go Unnoticed Via DVR Concealed Cameras

Friday, December 31st, 2010

The following demonstrates how surveillance technology is assisting business owners today…

Our employees are giving me something to think about.  All day long, our delivery boys are out delivering goods to our clients.  So busy at their tasks, all our employees seem to be.  But there is something that is going on that I can’t really explain.

I am not really sure if all their hours are spent in work-related activities alone.  I just acquired this company and now I have to make sure that all their company time is spent only for work.

The way I could determine this was suggested by a friend connected with a security company.  He informed me that recording spy camera images is the method companies usually resort to.

I will need to put in specific locations DVR hidden cameras, he told me.  The first one he suggested was the DVR Air Purifier hidden camera.

The recording spy camera can capture every event that happens in the office while I am not there.  It can also be remotely controlled so they will not notice.

The Car Key Hidden camera with audio can be used by my personal driver as he accompanies the delivery boys in their rounds to record their conversations.  I can assign him to do this periodically.  Even as the recording spy camera acquires their images, their voices will also be recorded.

The DVR Exit Sign Color Hidden Camera was also one of the DVR hidden cameras that he recommended.  This will be used for recording spy camera images of those who are coming in late or going out early, and loitering employees.

He also suggested the DVR Wall Clock Color Hidden Camera which I will put in the conference room.  I can see whether they are there for office tasks or just personal activities.  All of these DVR hidden cameras are easily connected to a computer monitor or a TV for video playback and all have SD cards for recording the video.

PTZ Dome Surveillance Camera

Saturday, December 25th, 2010

PTZ stands for Pan, Tilt, and Zoom.   PTZ dome surveillance cameras differ from a fixed dome camera in that it can move left and right (pan) or up and down (tilt).  These surveillance cameras can also zoom in and out, making it very feature-rich.  These domes require a keyboard and a receiver to operate PTZ functions.  Most PTZ dome surveillance cameras have receivers built in to them, however.  Using the keyboard, PTZ domes can be programmed to view an area and/or can utilize alarm triggers to induce movement by the camera.  A series of motions can be programmed by the user for the surveillance cameras to follow.  For example, PTZ surveillance cameras can be programmed to sweep a parking lot every 10 minutes.  Additionally, triggers such as motion detection or door contacts can alert the camera to reposition itself.

The total zoom capability of PTZ surveillance cameras is actually a combination of digital zoom and optical zoom.  Digital zoom uses electronics to zoom in and out while optical zoom uses lens motion.  The total zoom of a camera can be calculated by multiplying the digital zoom by the optical zoom.

Like fixed domes, PTZ domes often are smoked or otherwise obscured, making it hard for people to tell if they are being watched.  PTZ domes also come in a variety of configurations, including weatherproof and day/night.  Day/night capability means the surveillance cameras are color by day and black and white at night.  They can be mounted almost anywhere using a variety of dome mounts, such as pendant and recessed mounts.  A pendant mount allows the camera to hang from the mount arm as a pendant does on a necklace.  A recessed mount hides the entire camera except for the dome.  Cameras using these mounts usually are mounted in drop or tile ceilings.

PTZ domes surveillance cameras have several advantages over traditional PTZ surveillance cameras.  Domes can efficiently move in all directions, including 360 degree rotation and viewing straight down.  dome cameras utilize auto-flip to view something directly below it.  Auto-flip allows the surveillance cameras to rotate automatically when something passes directly below it, ensuing that the object or person remains upright on the viewing screen.

Security Surveillance Camera

Saturday, December 25th, 2010

There are may reasons to choose wired surveillance cameras and many reasons to choose wireless surveillance cameras.  The things you should consider when it comes to purchasing wired or wireless surveillance cameras include the size of your home or property, the placement of the cameras, and the cost.  Wireless surveillance cameras are becoming more affordable all the time, but wireless surveillance cameras also tend to be a little more expensive than wired surveillance cameras.

Another thing to consider is the distance of the signal for wireless surveillance cameras.  Some wireless surveillance cameras offer only one hundred feet for a signal, but other wireless surveillance cameras can go up to one thousand feet.  A wireless surveillance cameras with a long signal is very convenient because you can place them in many different, hard-to-reach spots, without worrying about wires or cords.  This means you can have your wireless surveillance cameras in areas that didn’t have the proper outlets for regular wired surveillance cameras.

But wireless surveillance cameras are not the only option, or always the best option.  Wired surveillance cameras also have their benefits.  For one thing, wired surveillance cameras tend to be more cost effective.  For another, you never have to worry about dropping the signal.  You also do not have to worry about something obstructing or otherwise affecting the wired surveillance cameras signal.  Wired surveillance cameras can be placed almost anywhere wireless surveillance cameras can be placed, and there are ways to hide the cords and wires that are attached to the wired surveillance cameras.

Spy Cameras for Home

Friday, December 24th, 2010

Everybody wants to be assured that their children will be properly taken care of when a babysitter is left in charge. Most parents will not leave their children with someone unless they know that person is responsible, either from personal experience or references.  Still, how can you be certain that your children are secure in your absence?  One way is to install spy cameras for Home so that you can see exactly what everyone was doing while you were away.

If you are going to commit to using these Spy cameras for home, you need to be willing to invest the money to make it happen.  A really good nanny cam system will set you back several hundred dollars, and you’ll want to read all of the instructions to make sure you are doing everything properly.  Some systems are especially designed to be as covert as possible, with video cameras hidden or even disguised as everyday items like an air purifier dvr and  Sony alarm clock.

You’ll have to decide where you want the cameras and how many of them to buy.  The family room or whatever room the babysitter and children spend the most time in is a good start.  You must be willing to invest the time in watching the images stored on the SD CARD to make sure your child is being cared after properly.

Think about the reasons that you are installing this system.  Is it a general preventive measure, or do you have specific concerns about an individual?  If you are inviting a valued family friend into your home to babysit, you should tell them about the nanny cam right off the bat.  You may do this just for the sake of full disclosure and then turn the nanny cam off; if you know for certain you can trust someone, don’t alienate him or her by implying that they need to be spied on.

You might also want to let babysitters know about the cameras up front because this may further encourage them to be on their best behavior and put the well-being of the children first.  The simple knowledge of the camera can act as a deterrent.  The downside of this is that a clever sitter may find a way to work around the cameras.  For instance, they might find blind spots and see to it that they and the children stick to those areas.  They could also decide to spend most of their time outside, but this may be a good thing, since it mean that the kids will be engaging in vigorous outdoor activity instead of staying inside and loafing.

Another reason to inform those who enter your home about the Spy Cameras for Home is that privacy laws in some states are such that your sitter could bring a lawsuit against you if she finds out after the fact that you have been recording all of her actions.  On the other hand, there are several different companies specializing in equipment of this type, so this is not exactly an underground operation.  If you warn people ahead of time, you lose the element of surprise, so it needs to be your decision as to whether or not to offer full disclosure.

Spy Cameras for Home can be very effective both as a deterrent and as a way of keeping tabs on your children and their babysitter when you are not at home.  Today’s nanny cams are very easy to set-up and recommend investing the extra investment in a system with a built-in motion sensor, but the sense of security that hidden camera dvr nanny cams provide outweigh the costs involved in setting them up, so keep your kids safe with Spy Cameras for Home.

Inexpensive Portable Bug Detector with Strength Meter

Thursday, November 25th, 2010

Unfortunately, an illness forced my girlfriend’s father into early retirement. He named his sister as president on the condition that she teach his daughter (my girlfriend) the intricate details of operating the business. But we are discovering now that mentoring aunt doesn’t want his daughter involved in the business. Sadly, there have been meetings in which private personal information is being discussed. These private conversations took place in my girlfriend’s downtown loft, suggesting her home was perhaps bugged. I took the initiative and acquired an inexpensive portable bug detector with strength meter. This small and compact unit can be carried in your pocket or purse for a quick sweep of any area where you believe hidden cameras or microphones are present including public restrooms, hotels, car, dressing rooms and gyms. I discovered that this inexpensive portable bug detector with strength meter is very easy to operate as it immediately sounded an alert that a electronic bug had been detected.

This inexpensive portable bug detector with strength meter tracked down a hidden smoke detector on the ceiling. The inexpensive portable bug detector with strength meter also located a hidden microphone in he bedroom. After some research we discovered that her aunt owned the building where my girlfriend resided, so had complete access to her apartment. My girlfriend invited her business mentor over to the apartment for lunch and confronted the aunt about our findings and a demonstration of how this inexpensive portable bug detector located the bugs. The deceitful aunt denied any knowledge of how the bugs got there but it was obvious she wasn’t being truthful. After sharing our findings with my girlfriend’s father, he was so disgusted he immediately terminated the agreement with his shady sister.
